Ibiyemie Charity Foundation is a duly incorporated nongovernmental and not for profit organization with Registration Number 163368 under Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (CAC) to promote, support and sustain children education and advocate peace and unity in rural communities.
A quality basic education is something which every child should get regardless of their family background and community to which they belong. We strive to get educated in order to experience a good livelihood. As education being an integral part of our life, spreading awareness about education will support development in education system and more opportunities for children to study.
Nigeria as a country have a population of over 206 million, out of which, 50.5% of the poorest Nigerians have no formal education and about 38% of out of school children are girls, 16 million children of school going age are out of school.
Primary school children stood at 10 million while children out of secondary school are 6 million. 40.1% of the total population in Nigeria lives in poverty. Nigeria’s unemployment rate stands at over 37.10%. The Infant Mortality rate (Per 1000 live births) in this country is about 74.2%. We believe that this number should not exist and we can do something to reduce it.
Nigeria’s population is growing every day and unfortunately, the government no longer sustain provision for the needs of its citizens. There are growing challenges in our communities, hence parents are no longer able to properly take care of their children. We strongly believe that everyone child should have access to sound education, quality health care delivery and economic empowerment. This is a humble call as the responsibly lies on every goodhearted human being irrespective of race, culture or geographical location to change the narrative of underprivileged and disabled children and orphans a reason to strive and become somebody in future.
Your partnership, sponsorship, support, and goodwill donation will go a long way to help us achieve our goals in starting from Nigeria and beyond.
